I have a Bored Meeting today - so I have prepared my report.

Because the lights are still out in Greencastle in places, our treasurer was not able to print out a Financial report - which is my favorite part of the meeting.

I shall be on my way in a bit.

I have a coupon for a Family Bundle from Burger King.....three Whoppers, three cheeseburgers, and three fries.

I shall stop on the way home and get it.  I would say that that bundle will last me until Wednesday or Thursday at least.

Yes I am thinking that the banks will be open tomorrow....so I can draw out my July spending money.  The Federal holiday calendar says that it will be observed on Tuesday, July 4.

Mornin’! I remember being a newbie to NYC and seeing people set up with telescopes near the small boat pond in Central Park, looking up at a building. I thought wow, folks just peep out in the open here. Then someone pointed out the nest they were all looking at.

BK: I saw Barry was listed as one of the attendees at the Show, so how was he able to wander about and gadabout and whatnot? Would he potentially miss fans coming to his table? Or are some stars milling about with the masses?

Looking at the lineup, I would have enjoyed meeting Donna Mills and Joan Van Ark. Michelle Lee was listed as a cancellation, or what a fine Knots Landing bunch that would’ve been.

Deedee Pfieffer would’ve been a teenage crush I’d like to meet.  Lisa Jane Persky’s husband Andy is a friend, and I always loved her in Peggy Sue Got Married. Donna Pescow, yeah, I watched every episode of Angie as a kid, so sue me.

  Yes, I said it:  JEJUNE.

That's a bit simplistic, yes?           8)

I'm hard pressed to find another way to describe it.  Do you have any ideas?

DR Ron Pulliam - the eyeglasses were a clue that it was a joke. Isn't one of the meanings of "jejune" simplistic?

Like that joke in Yentl where Mandy says, "You look pensive." And Barbra says, "No, I was just thinking." Or something along those lines.

Is there a cast recording of the Pretty Woman musical? The recording I got from the library is Bryan Adams’s recording of the songs. And well, it’s a boring Bryan Adams album, which may be redundant.

Yes, there is.

Kristy McNichol was doing well on Empty Nest then had a nervous breakdown and left the show. It was tabloid fodder at the time but ultimately she was diagnosed as bipolar (She’d earlier had a breakdown during filming of Just the Way You Are). She walked away from Empty Nest and was taking jobs at like JC Penney’s and stuff, but then kinda figured herself out as we all must.

I find her luminous in The Pirate Movie. Of course she was great on Family too.
