TOD:
I would pick four shows I wanted to see, most likely four musicals with great scores (or scores I love) but problematic books that could either be worked on. The first that come to mind:
Something for the Boys
Very Warm for May
Make a Wish
The Nervous Set
The newest of those is from 1959, which means they would most likely never get produced, even in a reading.
Not that these would really be a good idea for a season, but I'd choose musicals and their sequels. I'd start with
Annie, and then
Annie Warbucks (they could have the same cast), and then
The Boy Friend, then its sequel,
Divorce Me, Darling (these would require two separate casts, ten years apart in age). Each pair could be done in rep.
