Well, here's a first.

I got a refund from Premiere Opera because they can't find their copy of the item I ordered.  It was a performance of The Cradle Will Rock.

DR ChasSmith, I think this is the complete PBS broadcast of the Acting Company production:

I've done seven new pages, maybe eight if you count the additions. Now I can take a break and I'll try to do two or three more tonight. I'm coming up to a very important sequence.

Thank you, DR Elmore!

I've watched the PBS broadcast (tried to download it but it seems to be very well protected). The Saratoga one looks very fine -- plus, the orchestration. Thank you!

I’ve started the new Paul Rudnick novel, Farrell Covington and the Limits of Style. It’s overlong and underdeveloped.

Speaking of kittens, Jeremy sent me an illustration this morning to show me what he hoped the final illustrations for A&T will look like. This was not among the 23 illustrations he sent me, so I assume it's a reject. Maybe it should be the cover of the book?

Very nice, Larry!

My journey down memory lane today was via a shelf full of souvenir program books, from which I’ve selected 5 that are must-keeps.  The others are sorted into live shows (Broadway and touring companies), “road show” movies, and miscellaneous (one Peter, Paul, and Mary concert, one Kingston Trio, and the 1984 tour of figure skating champions).

Is anyone here interested in knowing what’s in those first 2 categories?

I am I am!!

Actually, I’m not sure $4 will actually fully cover the cost of said dinner

Oh...well, maybe it's enough for a soda (assuming you partake of the carbonated beverages)?
