Thanks everyone. The Play That Goes Wrong est mort.

We had a major gaffe that was hard to recover from.....one actor hits the post and the second floor drops down.

Tonight said actor was messing around and just moved the post and it stayed up under the platform....which of course didn't fall the first few feet.

The illusion was ruined and it really affected the audience response to the rest of the second act.....but the actor didn't seemed concerned....just went on about his merry way the rest of the night wanting compliments for his work.

Set is struck and platform/apparatus is stored away until the Ohio college that bought it from us will pick it up sometime in August.
