Mercury has entered Virgo.....so changes are in store for all us....particularly the Virgo among us......and ALL opportunities should be taken advantage of by all of us.....because THEY WILL NOT come around again and could be an opening to a new adventure and lead us in a new direction.

If DR vixmom listed the things she would buy with her millions, one per post, that could take up several pages!

I enjoyed BK's musings about the ability to edit one's life. I'd edit out a whole stretch of my high school years when I was basically what we now call a troll.

Last night I was invited by my son's schoolmate's dad to play some pub trivia at a spot in Canada. This place does it with a theme each time, apparently. Many but not all the questions revolve around the theme. Last night's theme was aquatic life. By chance one of my three teammates is a marine biologist. Definitely came in handy. But I answered a few key questions too, and... we won. Just like the good ol' days when I played every week at Mercury Bar on 9th Ave in Hell's Kitchen. A rare adult night out for me.

Good Morning.

Sometimes you have to check in where real people say it like it is.

One question (on a NON Ask BK day)

BK - why are you writing a book in July?

Matthew - Two months ago for various reasons that I can't mention yet, I thought about writing a short novella, maybe 125 to 150 pages, to do an idea I'd had a few years ago. I began to feel strongly about it, so I just started writing and sent thirty-two pages to the Muse and she loved it and thought there must be a reason for this and to keep going. It's clear now it's not going to be a novella but a full-fledged novel. I've only done two books in one year once before and that was in addition to whatever that year's book was I did the book of short stories.

Did a quick Gelson's run, got some lox, and then came home and ordered fresh bagels and cream cheese from Western Bagel. I had a 50% off thing from Uber Eats so I compared to Door Dash, who was also having a little promotion. DoorDash would have been twenty bucks for six bagels and a small cream cheese, and no slicing for the  bagel. UberEats was two dollars more, but I got a large cream cheese and sliced for the bagels, so I went with that, naturally.

Must cool down the house and then continue the long futzing and finessing, then write new pages.

Since living in Michigan we have not used a food delivery service.  Back then there was only one, and at the time it was a new concept.  We would order from the restaurants menu and they would deliver the food.  You could also order from more than one restaurant.  The fee was based on distance.
