DR RON PULLIAM the Dream-O-Matic 6000 says that your first dream indicates that while you are still interested in the mysticism of religion, you are rather bored with the presentation of such and wish that things could be presented more realistically or at least more rationally.

Your second dream indicates that you are entering a new learning phase of your life and would welcome new experiences in many areas that have not yet been settled in your existence.

Interesting.   I like learning new things.  That's the Virgo in me.

Do I hear SIX?

Possibly, but I believe you were offered only FOUR!

I finally finished futzing and finessing and wrote two new pages thus far. I'm in a fun sequence that should last about four more pages, then I move on to a new chapter.

Not going to be a novella. I'm not halfway through and I'm already at 34,000 words. A novella can run up to 50,000 but I'll be well past that number by the time I finish. Who knew?

I had to go across town because I wanted to pop into Trader Joe's, so I did a couple of other things over that way as well. And once you park the car in an open parking lot, lock it up, and then get back in...  wow.

I hope your car cools off quickly.

We are very happy as it is only 79 degrees here, and there was a nice breeze on our walk.

The restaurant did offer meatless burgers, as well.

But do they cook them on separate grills?? ::)

That is a question I know better than to ask-lol

I don't ask what the base is in veggie soups either.

I actually prefer the taste of a good bean or veggie burger.  The fake meatless ones, no so much.

My niece also likes good bean or veggie burger that does NOT mimic the taste or texture of real meat.

She probably also thinks there is a lot more flavor to a good bean/veggie burger.  I agree with her about the texture.

DR Jane, I keep seeing articles about how much trouble the Oregon Shakespeare Festival is having.

Long article to follow.

I think between covid and the air quality from fires it has suffered :(

Be back later.

DR Iris, I hope progress is being made on moving.  I think about you and hard things have been for you.  A move might be what you need.  I have found while grieving it helps to have a change of scenery and distractions.

Many reasons for their current problems.
I hope it can be saved.

Thank you for the article.  I opened it to save until I can read it.

And did you know that McDonald's fries list of ingredients (in the US) includes natural beef flavor??  They're not even vegetarian, and never have been.

Five pages and time for a little break. Then I'll try to do five more.

:(

Right after Jerome Coopersmith, whose Baker Street she starred in.

Good to see everyone here.  Everything is good here.  Opening a production of Bright Star next Friday.  Love this little show - it's definitely a blue-grass Lifetime Drama.  Our cast is great - our band of 5 (keys, banjo, fiddle, guitar and bass) is perfect for our small space.  Looking forward to the work this next week to get it in shape for an audience.

I love Bright Star! I saw it maybe six times, thanks to Rob Berman's generosity. You're not playing accordion?

Last night I was invited by my son's schoolmate's dad to play some pub trivia at a spot in Canada. This place does it with a theme each time, apparently. Many but not all the questions revolve around the theme. Last night's theme was aquatic life. By chance one of my three teammates is a marine biologist. Definitely came in handy. But I answered a few key questions too, and... we won. Just like the good ol' days when I played every week at Mercury Bar on 9th Ave in Hell's Kitchen. A rare adult night out for me.

Congratulations, Rodzinski the Wizard

Good Morning.

Sometimes you have to check in where real people say it like it is.

One question (on a NON Ask BK day)

BK - why are you writing a book in July?

Salutations, Matthew!

I wonder about folks - like construction workers, road workers, even postal workers - who have to work outside when conditions are like this. It seems inhumane.
