Well, you've read the notes, the notes were windy, and now it is time for you to post until the windy cows come home.

Assuming the story is real, this is one good reason to be cautious about relying too much on "smart" devices:

I slept rather well. I had another Drama Book Shop dream - it's always the Drama Book Shop or Barnes and Noble - but I remember too little of it for the Dream-o-Matic.

I plan to spend most of the day on Ballet No. 34, but I've got some housework to deal with as well.

Bo Goldman has died. He wrote the screenplays for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Melvin and Howard, both of which brought him Oscars. My favorite script of his was Shoot the Moon. He also co-wrote the book for First Impressions, the not-impressive musical version of Pride and Prejudice.

Saturday morning greetings!  It’s another nasty day here in SW Ohio - heat, humidity, bad air quality.

Here is a wonderful sentence from the book I am currently reading:

Hugo was English, and he noticed Americans had trouble differentiating between his accent and his sarcasm.

Sorry about the spoiler, DR Ron Pulliam. They post a season at a time on BritBox, so when I said "tonight," I just meant the episode that we happened to be watching.

Kitty cleanup is over, the recyclables haqve gone to the basement, the mail has been picked up, and no I'm drying off in front of the AC. As soon as I make the bed, I'll work on the ballet.

Today marks our third "Level 2" Severe Thunderstorm Watch this week. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. "Level 2" in itself is not a huge scary deal, but this is the story of the summer of 2023. Plus, being that it's a Saturday, and the rain might have missed a couple of Saturdays, it's important to keep that up as well.

There's the possibility that they'll be rained out at the outdoor theeder tonight, in which case we'll catch the show on one of the next two weekends.

I have seen them all except Season 10, of which I believe I have seen six episodes.  I do not remember a decapitation, but it's possible I have already seen that one.

I was just fluffin with ya!

I have been up about 15 minutes.  Slept the sleep of the virtuous overnight.  My CPAP was on me the whole time, too. No breathing issues.

There were dreams.  One was odd in that I was walking somewhere instead of driving.  The road had been narrowed by vegetation. In fact, it seemed that both sides had been overgrown by mounds of hay for as far as I could see ahead.  I was on a path.

Next thing, I was pushing something across a street on which people were strolling.  No cars or other transport.  A female officer asked to see my identification as I neared a curb.  I pulled out my wallet and displayed my faceless ID.  She confirmed I was who I should be, and then told me to move off the street and went on her way.

Next thing I know, I am in line to order coffee.  I was debating just what my order would be but had in my thoughts a quad latte.  As I approached the cashier, she said she was still waiting on the previous customer who had stepped away.

He suddenly appeared.  The guy was at a minimum 6'9"!  I got a crick in my neck just looking up at him.

I then woke up and had to readjust my pillow because I actually had a crick in my neck.

That's all there was to it.

This has been a week for dreams!

And now it is raining.  Temperature is 77 degrees.

AQI is 20.

It seems we are blessed this morning.

TOD:

As a kid, I was a big fan of Robby the Robot from "Forbidden Planet".  Loved the movie, too.  Still do.

As an adult, I got the creeps when Ian Holm, aka "Ash", turned out to be an android in "Alien".

And I really admire "A.I."

Does anyone here ever wish they could work at Club Spanky?

Darla and Buckwheat work there, and they make hundreds of thousands of dollars.
