Was in Blaine area yesterday with the kids at a go-kart and mini railroad park. Found a fun ice cream/taffy/candy store near a beach in Birch Bay. Old-time vibes.

The two highway borders back into the US had long waits, so I tried the 3rd border over, into Lynden, WA. Less of a wait, but boy, you drive that half hour over and suddenly you are in real hillbilly country. I expected Bo and Luke Duke to come speeding by me on the run from Roscoe.
