The Washington Center remodeled last year, and the carpet on their stairs had the same effect. And there have been a couple of incidents of patrons losing their balance while walking down said stairs.

I have been watching Jury Duty, a series on Amazon Prime. James Marsden is in it. They basically put on a full criminal trial. but everyone except one member of the jury, unbeknownst to him, is an actor. Kind of shades of The Truman Show. Silly and fun.

In all my experience, you use your Costco member card to activate the pump, but can pay with any card you want after that.
