Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

DR John G., do you think this could really work?

I don’t know. I don’t have any indoor succulents.

I watched an interview with a sun bear conservation expert who believes that the sun bear in the Chinese zoo video really IS a bear, and not a human in an bear costume.

From Rodzinski:

Quote
Do enough people use Truth Social to make it worthwhile to protest Vs potentially whipping the usual foaming-mouth suspects into a frenzy about “censorship” that the platform gets more attention than if it was just ignored?

I thought about this, and hesitated, before signing it.

Just because I agree with a petition doesn't mean I sign.  I think sometimes they are just trying to get people to support the group, vs the petition doing any good.

I also am careful about sending petitions to my politicians when I know they already support the subject.

CNN is featuring "8 cottage cheese recipes you've got to try," so apparently they're monitoring HHW.

I seem to recall there were Carvel fans here.

Thank you.  I knew some of this but not all.  It was interesting.

Air conditioning man is here. And wouldn't you know, we turn it on and it's not doing what it's been doing. He swapped out the filter and I'm sure that will help, but I told him to check the thermostat, too.

But right now, it seems to be blowing cold air - maybe not as cold as usual, but cold. Last night and Friday night nothing but really hot air that not only was hot but raised the temperature in the house.
