Ok, urine tests seem good. The urgent care in this little hamlet is quite a well-run machine. So the current thinking is I pulled some back muscles somehow. Blood test results in a few days.

Aside child prodigy reading Romeo and Juliet while in 2nd grade, how old was everyone when they read their first adult book?

DR John, if you lived in Florida today you would not have been permitted to read all of Romeo and Juliet in school.

Good news, and good luck with the test results.

It’s not like back pain from my spine. Reminds me of a kidney infection I had as a kid, but no other symptoms of that. So we’ll see…

I hope it's nothing serious.

Podiatry went very, very well.  Am done unless I get another callous.

Blood draw went well, too.

Sam's Club -- I was only going to pick up a couple of things, like blueberry muffins and some Haagen-Dazs ice cream.  Trouble is, there was so much that appealed to me that I went hog wild.  My freezer is full, my refrigerator is full, and, happily, my belly is full.

I got mail this afternoon, then went to buy Mega Millions quick picks.

At least I am currently as likely as anyone else to win it all.

Am willing to share it with other lucky ticket buyers.

Not greedy, just as long as I can buy a beach house and a new car.

At least it wasn't the salmon mousse.

That reminds me, I came across a really simple recipe for fish & chips:

I love it! ;D

The only Haagen-Dazs I have seen at Costco are the bars.  What can you get at Sam's Club?

I was expecting an article to only cover how not to blow all that money.  It is shocking how often winners end of broke.

That's some incredible advice. I think many of us would have thought of an attorney and an investment advisor, and probably keeping it a secret, but...  wow.

Holy cow.  Now I know.  Whew.

So do I still have to purchase a ticket, or what?

I’m at urgent care down in Lynden, WA. I have a pain in my back I can’t tell if it’s muscle pain or something inside.

What grade was Earthsea required reading?

It was in one of my high school classes.  I don't remember much more than that.

Basically, I've slept all day and that's a good thing. Feeling a little better now. Not sure I'll eat anything today, but we'll see. Maybe something really bland and light a bit later.
