Good Afternoon - At work today, meeting with new faculty/staff, a lovely Chicken Salad for lunch and CPR training in the afternoon.  That's the plan.

I left the house at 9:50 a.m., went to the bank, stopped at the post office, went to the recycling center and then got to my haircut appointment by 10:20 a.m.

After the haircut, I bought lunch at Park Row No. 1 (hot pastrami, potato salad and a dill pickle), also bought a cup of lobster bisque for my din-din.

Spent my afternoon watching youtube videos.

I know that many of you go through youtube offerings.  I'd like to recommend some of the vids for "The Voice" from overseas. 

The Voice Portugal had a contestant named Fernando Daniel.  He has an incredible voice, and he won his year.  All his songs were sung in English, as it turns out, but his two albums are in Portuguese.  His audition song was Adele's "When We Were Young".  I have listened to Adele and others sing this song, but his version is my favorite.  It's on several videos on youtube.

The Voice Germany has had a few "wow" singers, as well.  One is Matthias Nebel, who sings "Bed of Roses" like there is no tomorrow.

Another is Alexander Eder who has a very nice, resounding bass, which he uses on country music.

I watched the third new episode of "Only Murders in the Building" this evening.

Quite entertaining.  Meryl Streep was guest star and sang a beautiful song that Martin Short's character wrote for his "new musical".
