We got our first treadmill in Michigan and it was a blessing the the winter when it was icy outside.  We had the treadmill in front of the tv.

Ann Patchett supposedly wrote Tom Lake on a treadmill standing desk.

I'm just gonna say that Covid, whatever it is, is not going away. It's nothing more than the flu now and it's usually two or three days and done.

It is pretty much what we expected.

Bike ride was almost 11 miles.  It was great - but I thought it was longer.   Anyway... here we are home on a Friday night.  Might be a cigar night...

I totally agree.  I guess it's hard to say how hard it will hit people when they get it.  I say unless you have a fever, or you feel bad in a way you're not used to feeling (we all get colds, allergies etc) then take a test.  If not, take your cold meds and be on your way!

I couldn’t handle more of One False Moon. I switched to Brokenwood Mysteries. A nun has been strangled.

One False Moon made one false move, I guess.

Finally finished Day of the Jackal. I know it's considered a classic, but I found it a very odd movie.

It’s a cold movie, as I recall. Not my favorite.

This episode of Brokenwood uses Escape (The Pina Colada Song) as a clue.

Pretty sure I wrote about Cabin in the Woods.

That's a different movie from "Knock at the Cabin".

Amazed and glad for BK’s latest book completion. Seems not long ago he had just written a few pages. But they added up. Oh yes.
