The Republican debate:

The debates of 2015 with 16 candidates was a pile of meaningless twaddle.  And that is obviously what GOP voters want.

Will waste no more time on any Republican politician.

Listening to the Bunny Bregman Big Band.

Makes me want to dance. And my feet are tired from dancing too much.

I enjoyed my lunch with friend Jerry at Iguana's.

The service was very good.....I got the broiled shrimp taco salad....and it was very good.

I had to re-read that . For a moment I thought Iguanas were dinner.

You don’t like fried iguana? With or without his privates?

Back from a "catch up" dinner with my pal Angela and her ever-loving Meg.  We went to the Cheesecake Factory and I did end up consuming a lovely piece of Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake.  Could have used more cherries.  It was a great evening.

I am NOT in the mood to write notes yet. With the exception of a one-hour Zoom, my nose has been in the book all day and night.

But I also don't want to spend $100 on a hand mixer!

Did you check eBay?

Not yet.  I went to Fred Meyer tonight and they have a few models on sale, so I'll check eBay and see what's a good price versus power.

I've seen some pretty expensive hand mixers...and toasters that were over $250!!

Wow.  I can't remember what my last one cost, certainly not that much.

I think mine cost about $20 on sale. :)

I don't know how often you use a mixer, George, but I recently informed my DH that when the day comes that I have worn out Kerry's Kitchen-Aid stand mixer, I'll be spending a few hundred dollars to replace it.

I have a feeling I bake more often than you do, though.

Yes, I rarely have used my hand mixer.  A Kitchen Aid mixer, as cool as it would be, is just too much mixer for me.

I currently have a 5 speed hand Kitchen Aid mixer I like.  I should see how much it costs.

There's a Kitchen Aid hand mixer at Fred Meyer on sale for $59.99...regularly $79.99:

I find a similar model for $53.99 on Amazon.

Was that one the same as the ones in my picture?
