Aside from the other reasons I can't give blood, when I asked my father to give me permission to donate at the school blood drive he refused. His reason was that I was likely to become anemic because of my health issues.

When traveling sometimes we stay in hotels with very nice breakfast buffets. I struggled to eat enough to do them justice. I think I manage ok.

Yesterday morning we followed another couple up to the coast to visit with mutual friends.

We had a nice lunch and then went for a walk along the beach.

This morning we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast followed by a walk through their neighborhood before heading home.
