I am having the worst time with Amazon Prime, my firestick, and my television. Jen's been down twice today to work on it, She said she'll return tomorrow and see if everything updated.

I finished my Charleston piano arrangement, and now I can begin the orchestration.

DR John G. - you liked Tom Lake, didn't you?

Very much. I listened to Meryl Streep’s reading of it v

DR Jane, we met in February, 1987. But 9/9 (1990) is when we had our commitment ceremony with our parents in attendance.

We got married in 2008 in California when it first became legal to do so, and that is when we met DR Ron Pulliam.

Der Wald (The Forest) now has a recording! It is the first opera composed by a woman staged at both the Metropolitan Opera in New York and at Covent Garden in London.

I recall your wedding.  I have never been to a commitment ceremony but they sound lovely.

Ethel Smuth was British. Not sure why the short opera is in German.

My guy at DXL got me outfitted for this eve... basically just a red paisley-like shirt to go with a jacket I already own.  I think it will do the trick. All the glittery stuff I attempted to order from Amazon this week were all fails.

DR Matthew, you could hire someone to follow you around with your own personal lighting.

And fail-ly stuff should never glitter.

Glitter [the actual stuff] makes me nervous. It gets into everything, and goes everywhere.

If I open a card with glitter, I continue to find remnants of it years later.

That's really cool, Singdaw!   How's the actual mudic?

And the walk itself was very nice since we had delightfully warm (but not too hot) weather.

But since it was warm (but not uncomfortably so), I am a bit tired, so I'm going to nap a bit before heading back downtown and concessions for the Tig Notaro show. :)
