And with Page Two, I am hoping we have a more populous audience this evening.

The number of folks attending night one and two....added together equal one full house.

Wow, that dream was pretty specific, DR Ron Pulliam.

My Dollys:  Ginger Rogers on Broadway, Channing on tour in Miami a year or so later, and then none until Bernadette in 2018. Time to seek out some bootlegs. I so wish I could have seen Betty Buckley’s.

Saw Channing twice on tour in Dolly. Indelible performance.

Great photo, DR George. Glad the show went well.

Thanks, Singdaw!

Break a leg vibes for DR GEORGE & Co.

I enjoyed the pictures of the venue and DR GEORGE in his tuxedo....I like the waiter's jacket.....but I also like the Eton jacket which is the same length but has three buttons in front.

Thanks, Jrand!

I want to hear more about the "infamous story."

I was curious about that, as well, since I had no memory of writing it.

But, I was able to scan parts of the story.  The infamy part was that I stated that I had seen something in the skies one night.

I described it as I saw it.

I drew no conclusions as to what it was.

I observed phenomena occurring around me.

It was quite a piece and folks were out to ridicule me, but I had, as my defense, never once stated what it "might" have been or where it "might" have come from.

The story was a mood piece, extolling upon the mind's ability to transcend what it thinks it knows and to "imagine" what it cannot put into fact.

Regarding the Chandos recording by John Wilson of the complete original "Oklahoma!:

Its a pricey box ($43), but this morning I got a text telling me Amazon was reimbursing me $11.12 on the final price.  It may be because I am a Prime customer, but there it is.

Wow, that dream was pretty specific, DR Ron Pulliam.

I consider it a near-lucid dream.  I was awake every hour of the night, counting down the hours until I could reasonably get up and take more meds.

Have never seen a stage production of the show.   If I had my druthers, I'd love to see both the Martha Raye production and the Pearl Bailey one.

I, too, am a Prime customer, but the I have always assumed ::) that that kind of pre-order/final price refund would happen to anyone.

I just listened to the new Oklahoma! and sent John an email praising it. It's quite excellent, and I put it up there with McGlinn's Show Boat for excellence. By the time Curley and Laurie got to their Act Two reprise of "People Will Say We're in Love" ("Who cares what happens now?"), I was in tears. People are already carping about it on Facebook, but they're wrong.
