Here in Tumwater (I don't know about anywhere else), Costco used to close at 7:00 on Saturdays. $:-\$

Meeting with the set designer's done. He was going down a slightly more complicated road - not bad ideas but too busy for me - I basically want a large open space with a bandstand all the way up center and then everything would operate within that. I'm setting the whole show in the once lovely but now seen better days ballroom of the hotel.

Canadian schools are smaller, at least in the town near us. And several classes are split. Teachers teaching 2nd and 3rd graders in one class, for instance.

I have only the vaguest early memory of a doctor coming by our house when I was a kid, to see one of my sisters. Then quickly housecalls faded away.
