And 100 minutes later, my computer has completed its update and cleanup.

And I now have a search box in my tool bar.

Great.

I didn't volunteer that I also had on Deadpool boxers - but if he has x-ray vision, he knows that.

She has two children 12 and 14 - and last spring her husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer.....he is taking chemo right now - but probably won't live out the year.

I spoke to her briefly and left her some good HHW vibes for strength.

Major vibes for Beth and her family :(

Now, if I only knew what Deadpool is.

If folks from Liverpool are called Liverpudlians, what are folks from Deadpool called?

Deadpoolians ;D

I'm wearing pink Converse today.  Several girls asked why my shoes were pink - I told them that pink is cool.  One person said I should be wearing blue shoes....

Are you trying to find information?

There is a woman from the mid 1850's who translated all the famous German church hymns into English, translations that are still used in many places of worship today.
I believe she is related, so trying to track down how. But it seems like you can't just start willy nilly in a tree, you have to start at present and go back step by step.

On This Day in 1903, Victor Herbert's Babes in Toyland premiered at the Majestic Theater (then located at Columbus Circle).

It sure did! I'm not happy that the edition I worked on for nearly ten years may never see the light of day.

I did, indeed, have my head shorn.   No, it was not coiffed, DR JRand73.

After the shearing, I made a stop at Mickey D's and got a quarter-pound, a small fries, a small Dr. Pepper and two (count 'em 2) fried apple pies.

I stopped at Cook's where I procured three Granny Smiths, one Goldent Delicious and one Winesap, a Japanese pear, a beefsteak tomato and a jar of peaches in syrup.

When I turned into my drive, I noticed the UPS guy had left me a box of Tovala meals at my garage door.

Life is pretty good.  I have just arisen from a much-needed nap, and I feel great.

Perhaps I may continue striving to age graciously.

I would like to know about the White Castle 10 sack.

Is that 10 White Castles?  How much does one cost nowadays.  I remember them beng 19  cents each.

In fact, I could buy 10, a large fries, a large onion chips and a large milk shake and get change back for a $5 bill.

I'm sure prices have gone up since 1984.

Gee, Jack!  What a whirlwind of a day you had....so many medical places, so many folks talking and so much to-do over the Deadpool shirt and socks.

You might need to wear that shirt to a rehearsal.  Your cast may surprise you.

DR singdaw:  Ancestry.com isn't too difficult.  Start slowly.  Send them your saliva.  They will put up a map showing from whence your forebears sprang.

They don't force you to do anything.  They do offer hints based on basic info you give them...and they link your results with things others have input, notifying you of potential cousins, etc.
