Tuesday morning greetings!  We are waiting for a conference call about the delay in the renovations of our home-to-be.  Not unexpectedly, the cabinets are the hold-up.

That isn't a surprise.

Meanwhile, I’ve been purging clothes.  It’s not exactly a “what if” situation, but I feel like I’ve shed several identities along the way.  So far there are 5 bags for Goodwill in my car and I’ll probably add a 6th today.

After 11 days, Israel still hasn't made its anti-Hamas push into Gaza and will refrain, apparently, until after President Biden's visit tomorrow.

Jim Jordan will be voted on for House speaker today.

The world is in chaos.

I wish those Rethuglicans who don't like Jordan would vote for Jeffries.

One of the talking heads on MSNBC said Jordan wasn't likely to negotiate; more prone to intimidate.

And now, to relax for a while.

I'm starting to get hungry, but I can't eat yet because my left face is still too numb.

I believe I'll watch a movie. Maybe it'll even put me into a li'l nap. I wouldn't complain.

That isn't a surprise.

Not at all.  My sister, who worked in a builder’s office, said, “Cabinets are always the hold-up.”

Bruce I cringed at your getting Chicken Pox.  It tends to be extra hard on adults and very young children.

Several years later his mother mentioned something about the time Keith had Chicken Pox.
