The narrator is odd to me. He pronounced Sal Mineo’s last name muh-NAY-oh.

So far, our flight home appears to be on time and not canceled.

Excellent.

TOD:

In Italy, I had a lasagna in the restaurant next to the villa we were staying in. The noodles were paper thin and handmade. Slivers of porcini mushrooms filled in between and there was more than a little brown butter to keep it moist. It barely stood an invh tall, despite seven or so layers. It was so spectacular that I didn’t want to share any. I did. But I wasn’t too happy about it.

I'm not sure why you would have had to share.  It was kind of you to do so.

When you travel with food lovers, it’s practically a given.

I suppose.  I travel with Keith.  If he shares something delicious I know he is being very kind ;D

When I was in my early 20's I briefly dated a guy who would bring me to his folks' house for Sunday dinners.   His mom.made manicotti that was so light and delicate it practically floated above the plate. That, together with her homemade sauce ( which they persisted in calling "gravy") still lives on in my memory more than 40 years later

Yum, but gravy-lol

A guy I know from my Navy days -- a New Jersey native named Lenny Gatto -- wrote a musical entitled "They Call it Gravy, We Call it Sauce".

Erma Bombeck wrote a book called "When You Look Like Your Passport Photo, It's Time to Go Home".

What do I do when I look like my passport photo BEFORE I leave home.

My free Covid tests did indeed arrive.....with a card telling me how to check the REAL expiration dates.

Some Ice Skating - Women's Short Program and Men's Long Program is on E! Channel tonight at 8 p.m. EST.....for some reason.

Three more trash bags were cleared out of the closet from HELL.

Mostly papers and book bags and files and who knows what else.....I only kept a few things.

However I did keep a few things including a letter sent to me by my friend Brian.  He included a review of his performance in a production of NOISES OFF that read:

"Brian Williams is a wonderful actor though woefully inarticulate......"

That's the way he signed the letter.

I’ve been doing laundry, tossing lots of old papers, and listening to the wonderful tunes and lush Larry and Lanny orchestrations of Unsung Irving Berlin. The papers I’m tossing are not my own; they are my late neighbor’s accumulation that I perhaps foolishly am tackling. My own await.

Singdaw. Glycine is an amino acid and some doctors feel all amino acids are contraindicated for people with kidney issues. Hopefully, yours are history, but you may want to check with your doctor. Have you tried taking magnesium? It’s relaxing and most of us need more than we’re getting.
