TOD:
The dream that has stuck with me longest is one I had in college (circa 1968 or 69).
In my dream I was at my college in the North Carolina mountains, and news reached us of a nuclear explosion that would affect everyone when it snowed.
And it began snowing. I, and my fellow theater majors, huddled together in a below-stage area of our theater.
For some reason, I opened a door and looked out. The snow covered everything. I remember wondering if my parents were safe and if they were worried about me. And, it suddenly occurred to me that I would never see my parents again. I woke up with tears in my eyes.
That was my most traumatic dream ever.
Happily, I have had no recurring dreams, other than a couple about being late for an exam in a class i had forgotten I was taking and roaming through halls that were dark and couldn't find the exam room. The dreams are in different locales, but the situation is similar in each. That also includes my military time and me not being able to find my ship when I knew I had to be on board for a duty day.
