Last night I packed for New York.

New York City? Is there a reason? How long will you be here?

Only one afternoon in the city. To see Here We Are.

Do We is great fun. JohnG has it right - You and I. Involves cast members who are not part of the plot, comes directly after Coffee with a set up that doesn't help and on Broadway it had about ten people in it - we have five and it's just not good.

Ah. You and I.
Would you worry the performers would be sad to have their one number cut?

I had a dream last night I was in a cruise ship and it doubled as a business conference, and Richard Thomas was there as a celebrity presenter. I sat next to him on a sofa and we had a nice talk. He wasn’t super-friendly but we had some laughs. Meanwhile my kids had commandeered a huge sack of stuffed animals.

Good Afternoon - Well, this day took a turn when I got a call from my BFF telling me that a good friend of ours passed away last night.  My day just hasn't been the same since.  I'm back at White Christmas this eve where we will work Act 1.  I'm thankful for that.  Other than that, it's one of those times where I need to get out of here and go home and be with the DD's.

I have a few things to take care of today: Access-a-Ride for tomorrow's appointment, try out the new pens I purchased since my favorite writing instrument is no longer being made by Paper Mate, and some preliminary work on a book I think a dear friend and I are going to attempt. This should prove interesting if nothing else.

Good luck with everything, Larry!

I hope that paranoid idiot who accused MR BK of "springing" the lighting director's visit on her has been placed on his permanent NO FLY list.

I have a few folks on mine.

While at Trader Joe’s today I saw a dog in costume. I couldn’t tell you what the costume was, except that it included a piece that fit over his head. It looked like the costume was made for him. I did not see any humans in costume, however. Perhaps his owner is doing Halloween vicariously. Or perhaps he is waiting for tomorrow.

If someone is killed unexpectedly by a sword, is that a surprise run-through?

This week has ominous overtones.

Thursday morning, I must have an MRI done.  This is the scan the doctor told me he wants to rule out a brain tumor as the cause of my hearing loss in my left ear.

The test will just about be over by this time Thursday morning, but it doesn't mean I won't contemplate it quite a bit over the next few days.

The manager of this building had a small brain tumor a couple years ago. It was benign, but they chose to remove it. I was amazed at how quickly she recovered. She’s in her fifties, stayed at her mother’s for a few weeks as planned, then was fine. Ron, I’m sure you’re nervous — anyone would be — but these things aren’t as devastating as they used to be. And it may be negative.

Vibes it’s negative and that’s the end of it.
