In 2011 my friend's father went missing.  She had to call and pester news stations to finally get them to report his story.  I helped by calling homeless shelters in the area to see if a nameless man fitting his description was there.  Finally her father was found where his car went off the road.  It was not a happing ending but the family no longer had to worry and wonder where he was.

[Jane]

He was found because another car went off the road in the exact same embankment about a week later.  Fortunately that man survived and was able to call for help.

Rodzinski I am sorry about your garage door.  Vibes the fix is easy.

And Mrs R is not happy with me.

I get that.  I would not be happy to have to leave the cars out when it is cold.

But so far she is not making me sleep in the garage.

I got into the habit of not starting my car until my garage door is completely open.  I think I have an irrational fear of suffocating from the exhaust fumes, even though I know that that can't happen in such a short amount of time.

I am with you on that.  I may not sufficate but the fumes make me sick.

Will return one day when my mood is more positive.

I do try to keep up with the notes and posts.

It is good to see you posting even if nothing has improved.  I do hope you are getting closer to your goal of moving.

Thanks for all garage door vibes and stories. George actually triggered for me why it happened. I was getting kids and presents and stuff in car and had not opened the garage door. I got in and reflexively started the car and was like, yikes I don’t want to be in a closed garage with car running, and as I’m thinking that, I started backing up but I went faster than the door was opening and [cue ugly sound from behind me].

My hope is I can just order the bottom panel that I f’d up. Then I gotta get someone to install it. Otherwise I have to have someone out twice. Companies like to charge 3-400 bucks just to come up here. I’d like to not involve insurance but if whole door needs replacing, might have to.

I thought it was a great word until I read the full definition.  To my shock it was the twat portion of the word that I find unacceptable.

You can coat pretzel sticks in white chocolate and make a fake spent ashtray.

WTH??  I had actually typed "Live..." but my automatic spelling corrector changed it to "Lice"!
