OMG, DR Rodzinski. You did the obverse (or something) of what I did backing out of my garage earlier in the year. The garage door was open but the station wagon's hatch was up, and that haunts me every single time I prepare to back out now. In my case, the car's hatch took the damage, and I was probably lucky that it was "only" $800 worth. Which I did NOT make an insurance claim on. And the garage door was totally fine. Lordy.

Peter White has died. I used to see him regularly when I worked at The Drama Book Shop. He was such a nice man, the complete opposite of that shit Jeff Daniels. My mother loved him on All My Children, and he sent her a signed photo.
