Miss Sondra Gay who played the title role in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom back in 1987 when I played Irvin......we had a great time yesterday on the panel for the 40th Anniversary of the Phoenix Theatre.

A lovely photo. And a great one of you, Jack. I particularly like your crystal eyeglasses. They accentuate your gray hair and beard.

Yes. It feels like the temperature really dropped here as well.

He did very well.  We drove around for 20 minutes or so and then stopped and parked.

Two young women came out of a nearby PetSmart store.  It was very windy.  One of the young ladies dropped something and it blew across the parking lot.....probably the length of a football field and into the street.

She finally retrieved it and brought it back to her car.  I said:  "Nice catch!  What is that?"

She waved the bag around and said:  "Thanks.  It's crickets for my lizards."

And someone had to catch and bag those crickets. What a job!

DR John did you make it to the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake?

Yes. That’s where the third photo was taken. We went by the Shaw Festival Theater. We went to the Inniskillen Winery. We toured a chocolate factory. We had lunch.

I’ve never toured a chocolate factory. Does it turn you off from ever eating chocolate again?

I watched the first episode of Kenneth Branaugh’s new series on Boris Johnson. At times he looks like the real BJ. The giveaway is that his hair is much better controlled. E1 goes into the early days of COVID from the perspective of the British government.
