Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

This is one of my all-time favorites!

This one made me very emotional this morning.

My local post office will not be closed tomorrow, which is a federal holiday because Saturday is Veterans Day.  It will close on Saturday, however, giving postal employees two full days (Sunday included).  I know that federal offices will be closed tomorrow.

Thanks for the info.

Two messages from the leading lady asking me to "strategize" how she'll get through tonight (and presumably the entire weekend), with her sprained ankle - she's been told not to put weight on it. I'm so tired of compromising everything on this show, from day one right up to now. Last night was so embarrassing for me - it's my name on this show - and no one, including you dear readers, really know what's been going on. It's worse than middle school. This could have been so great and it's so not great and I'm out of patience and I'm out of ideas how to further compromise my work. I should be fixing things prior to the show, but now I have to deal with someone who'll be hobbling around the stage in a VERY physical role added to just trying to get the lines out. Believe me, the story will be told but not until later.

I am so sorry you are having all these issues :(

Well here is the "shocking" photo.

Jerry Lewis Telethon September, 1979....we were all in a tent in Terre Haute - Disco Dance Marathon style.

My partner is Bev Jones.....I am wearing white painter's pants and a black t-shirt with the word Variations on the front.

Nice picture, Jrand.

Had a horrible reaction to lunch today. I think it was to the truffle fries. Truffles have done that to me once ages ago.

I thought I was going to faint.

Thursday afternoon greetings.  If you’re wondering why I’ll be even scarcer early next week, we’ll be with extended family celebrating the life of our sister-in-law Edna.  Even though she and Richard’s older brother were divorced shortly after we were married, she remained very much a part of our family.  We are heartbroken:

Oh Ginny, I would simply figure you were busy preparing for your move.  My condolences on the loss of your dear sister-in-law, ex or not.  I know I would be very sad if this was my ex sister-in-law  :'(

I have decided after my experience with Morning's At Seven - I will never again suggest or volunteer to direct a show featuring ladies of a certain age......NEVER.

In moving news, this morning a new dishwasher was installed here.  We may get to use it 3 or 4 times, but our realtor said there had to be a working unit or the house wouldn’t pass inspection.  We bought what the guy at Lowe’s called the “landlord’s special.”

Not totally unexpected, but pretty sudden.

I knew Richard's brother well, but I don't remember meeting either of his wives.
