Very long night of sleep. I don't know why.

It seemed long. I dreamed many dreams, none of which will come true, but that's okay.

It's early enough to go out for breakfast, but I don't have the motivation to do so. A cup of coffee seems to be doing all I need.

The mini HHW reunion will be smaller: DR WFO is out with pneumonia, and I don't know if DR vixmom has another escort. Sadly, my health has taken a bad turn and I mist stay home. I'm really sorry to miss DR JohnG, his friend Carol, and vixmom.

DR George, your post and DR Jrand73's post about running into friends reminded me that in September 2001, while I was sequestered in London after 911, I spent my birthday seeing a movie and buying myself birthday gifts. While I was browsing at Chappell Music on Bond Street, I ran into my friend Judy Malloy, who sang on the first Lost in Boston. I met her through her husband, another Drama Book Shop friend. When they divorced, they both left Manhattan, and I hadn't seen Judy since 1998 or so. It was a complete surprise to be shopping in London and running into her.

Great pictures in the notes, and I’m glad to hear it was a great opening - even while sound issues need to be fixed.

It’s a universal curse, though. I think sound or mic issues have affected, to some extent, every recent regional play and musical I’ve seen.

I've tied up the apartment, and while I worked I listened to the OBC recording of 70 Girls 70. which I haven't ;osteed to in several years. Mildred Natwick still breaks my heart with "The Elephant Song" and "Say Yes." It's such a wonderful score.

The first time I answered the Drama Book Shop phone and the caller said she was Mildred Natwick, I said "Mr Billings! Mr Billings, where's Patsy?" And she invited me to tea.
