If you want to listen to Sondheim's Passion while following along with the vocal score, well: here's your link.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMDrHsHWrIA&t=126s

Nice...and for the spoken dialog that isn't in the score, they show the scenes from the video.

I know my HHW friends will have this answer.

My brother turns 65 years old in March.  He asked me to help him sign up for Medicare.  I told him he could do that in January - three months before he turns 65.

I also said that I thought if he is already receiving Social Security, he will be signed up for regular Medicare automatically.

Yes, unless things have changed in the last few years your brother can apply for Medicare 3 months in advance. I suggest he do so.

No, I don’t think enrollment is automatic. When did the government ever make things easy?

What became of theater organist Lyn Larsen who used to post here? Or was he just friends with a poster here, I forget.

Lyn used to be an active HHW poster. I wish he’d return. Nice chap.

My day is officially over. I received a summons for Grand Jury duty today, goddammit all to hell.

In California once you reach 70 you are no longer required to serve. You still have to fill out the paperwork, which could be easier, and they still send you the summons, but they then leave you alone for a while. Does NY have a similar program?

NY does not have a reprieve related to age.

Maybe Laura knows.  Lyn and Kerry Hughes were a couple.  After they separated Lyn stopped posting.  Kerry sadly passed away in April of 2017.  Laura often talks about her mixer that had been his :(

Thanks for the info, Jane and Jeanne. I remember Lyn sent or gave me several CDs of his music at some point.

Grand jury? Oh no. In NYC, that’s like a full month of hearing evidence for case after case. The one advantage is it gets you out of jury duty for 10 years.

Tonight we watched the first episode of Julia on Max. The actress playing Julia Child was the lead actress on Happy Valley. Unrecognizable here. So far, so good.
