When this game is over, we’re going to pick up those curtains we took to the dry cleaner Monday and drop them (plus the stuff in my car) at the house. It will be our first time inside without an escort.
That is exciting. Do you have someone to put the curtins up for you or can you do it?
We didn’t get away soon enough to make it to the cleaners, but we went to the house to move in some very fragile items that I wanted to get out of harm’s way before Monday’s chaos. We met a couple of neighbors and I got to putter a bit in the kitchen putting liner in the drawers.
As for the curtains, I’d hoped to use tension rods (which I already have), but I’m not sure the window frames are deep enough. We may end up buying new hardware and, yes, the maintenance crew will install it. They’ll hang anything but a TV.
