Jane, it was disgusting. I hate when it happens. I blame both Popeye's and Jose.

LOL about Jose.

There was a wonderfully snarky joke about Trump in Scrooged. I had forgotten that. It’sthe depiction of a frozen hell underground. Bill Murray finds himself surrounded by ice and waste water coming from the street.

“What is this, Trump Tower?”

And that's my sad tale of woe and also whoa.

Oh, my goodness!  That definitely was a sad tale of woe and also whoa! :o

Just got an email with my Ancestry.com DNA results.

Lots to dig into, but the top-level results are not surprising to me.

Watched The Lady Vanishes, wonderful as always. The disc featured a second film with two minor characters reprising their roles. But I had to stop it after 10 minutes. Lightning did not strike twice.

The twits, right?  Caldicott and Charters?

Went back to bed - what a waste of a day and evening. There is something seriously wrong with my stomach - not flu or anything and I'm not sure why the throat clearing and phlegm is out of control but I'm have had it. Took an allergy pill.

Watched a bit more of Torn Curtain and there's no way this is a new UHD transfer - it's the old Blu-ray transfer. I'm gonna get my money back.

Just finishing one of TCB’s favorite movies, Scrooge, with Albert Finney. Sorry, but it never works too much magic on me. And I could do without Alec Guinness’s lame attempt at singing.

Mega vibes to Vixmom. Glad you’re home, but hope they learn what’s causing these episodes.

Healthy vibes to bk’s tum.

I use Sambucol for sinus drainage, aka phlegm. Always helps.

Scrooge is also one of my and my sister's favorite Christmas movies.

Steady stream of appointments this week. Yesterday it was the optometrist and ordering new glasses. He’s VERY thorough. The exam was two hours, plus there were some tests, then the measurements for the new glasses. Both pair of glasses he’s made for me have been great. With my wonky eyes I need someone who pays attention to detail. I’ll need to return, though, on a day when he can dilate me, ie, when I’m not driving.

DR Rodzinski I am looking at renewing my passport and was asked if I want a personal passport card.  I don't.  What do you use to go back and forth all the time?  I thought my Washington State Enhanced driver's licence would do the same thing as a passport card though I have yet to attempted to use it.

Washington state enhanced drivers license gets us through the border. Doesn’t work at airports though.

Christmas children hunger for Christmas morning…

Kind of a cringy lyric.
