My friends went to NY to see Purlie Victorious. Hillary Clinton was there and said that Eleanor Roosevelt attended the original play. She said the previous First Lady remarked that all Americans should see the play. To me that sounds like something Eleanor Roosevelt would have said. She was a remarkable woman.

Before long, DR Jrand73 will be going for the EGOT!
Thanks to all for the best wishes.I am sure what will happen is.....the film is sent to Hollywood....my face comes on the screen for only an instant....but that's all it takes. The studio head says: "Get me that man!" His assistants say: "But, sir, he's nobody!"The studio head says: "I don't care. Get me that man. I'm going to make him a star!"And the rest is.....motion picture history. As said by Lucy Ricardo.
And why hasn't there been a vote yet? They need to get him out of there. Can you even imagine if Santos had been a Democrat? You think there'd be all this support and speechifying - they'd have him out of there in less than ten seconds.
I’m here to remind you that Joyce “Trixie Norton” Randolph is still alive at 99.
Back from picking up one important envelope - the most important, and hopefully the other will be there tomorrow.
