I spent the afternoon watching bk’s production of “70, Girls, 70.” It was a lot of fun. Bruce and the Group Rep did a very good job of it.

PBS is airing season 2 of an Australian show I quite like, “Royal Flying Doctors Service.” I saw season 1 several years ago and had given up on a second season. Then surprise! Happy to have s2.

Now starting a melodrama from Vincente Minnelli called The Cobweb. Great cast. Have never seen it.

Just watched a fascinating documentary buried by Disney, made by Sting's wife, about the making of The Emperor's New Groove, which was a real nightmare. Pretty much the best look you'll get at the making of a movie in the Disney process. Sting is caught up as a songwriter as the movie undergoes 100% change from what he began working on. Marc Shaiman gets canned. Also a look at life from the late '90s. Link below to a rough cut.

I ended up watching the show - standing - because every seat in the theater was filled plus extras in the front.

It was really the sharpest the show has been. Very little fumfering in act one, which shaved four minutes off the run time of that act. Unfortunately, we had to hold the start of the show because they were still seating people. And the intermission was almost twenty-five minutes because everyone seemed to have to use the terlet.

After, I stopped at the mail place and got the other important envelope, then went to Gelson's. My tummy was feeling a bit better so I decided to chance some food - white rice, some chicken noodle soup from their soup bar, and some Saltines. I only had four spoonfuls of the soup and about half the white rice, along with about eight Saltines. All I could stomach.
