I’ve just recovered from poisoning that I ended up in the hospital for a week. The residual effects have lasted over a month with low blood pressure and high pulse rate. No appetite and low energy. Still have one more test to check my stomach as I still have discomfort. I’ve been out work for seven weeks

I fed the cats, went back to the kitchen for my coffee, and came back to find that one of the cats vomited all over the floor. One more mess to clean up this morning.

DR John G, I love La Ceremonie, which is based on a Ruth Rendall mystery, Written in Stone, I think. I read it years ago. The book's title is a Mozart-Don Giovanni reference.

Yesterday, we had a huge Chewy.com order and my bag for basement runs with recyclables is completely stuffed with all the detritus from the order: cardboard cartons, paper stuffing, etc. I have to take all that to the basement before I can deal with cleaning up the Amazon Fresh bags.

Amazon Fresh arrived around 7:15 and it took me 35 minutes to put everything away and fight with the cats for space. Thatch is smart: he realizes getting in the way while I'm dealing with a mess could be bad for his health so he prefers to play in the emptied bags. Silly Annabelle and Stella  dive right in to get in the way and keep me a raging maniac.
