And now there are actually, factually 76 guests, for BK's 76th!

These are the things I ponder.

More to ponder:  Neither Superman nor Mighty Mouse is licensed to fly by the FAA.

Good morning, all.

I have zero plans for the day, so little is apt to get done.

It is supposed to be partly sunny, which I guess means it will also be partly cloudy.

The difference, I am guessing, is that when it is partly sunny it is "mostly sunny, and when it is partly cloudy it is "mostly" cloudy.

I wouldn't bet on either.

I hope Larry is all right.

It is unseemly that he has not yet posted this morning.

Tom Snyder (from the old late-night NBC "Tomorrow" show) would kid the local weather forecaster Frank Field about his forecasts and once said (paraphrasing) "I always rely on Frank's forecasts, like when I walked out of my building the other day and stepped into three inches of partly cloudy."

This doesn't really feel like a Friday.

But it's been one of those weeks with the days being screwed up for me, so why should today be any different?

Yesterday we got some flurries a couple of times.

You know what I'd like? I'll tell you.

I would like the entire winter to consist of "some flurries a couple of times". Please see to that, will you? Thanks in advance.

I was sleepy, so I went back to bed for an hour. When I got up, it was almost 9:00 and I began kitty cleanup. As soon as I set their dishes in the sink to soak, I turned away from the sink to get a clean garbage bag, my right knee gave out, and I fell over, taking the walker and dish towel rack off the refrigerator door and falling to the floor with my upper body landing in a tight space between the kitchen area door and the refrigerator. I'm very lucky I didn't injure my newck or head in the fall.

So, after assessing if any body part was in severe pain, I began to yell for help, hoping someone in the building would hear me. I also struggled to get to the walker and lift it off me. My problem was that I had no way to stand up. After several minutes of screaming my head off, Shane, the young lawyer above me in 4C, opened my door and asked me if I were okay. He;s the nice young man whose apartment Annabelle burst into ne day when she got out of the apartment and got lost on four.

He moved everything out of my way and helped me stand up. After he left, I cleaned the litter, but when I now kneel on the floor, my right toes really hurt, and I don't know if I sprained them or broke them. I'm assuming a sprain. I'll be lying down for a while.

Hoping nothing is broken!

How fortunate that your neighbor was able to help you.

Trying an eye drop before bed. It’s odd. Not irritating, just odd.
