Pesto (this is NOT the low-fat one I mentioned earlier

)
3 packed cups fresh basil leaves (no stems_
2 large cloves fresh garlic
1/2 cup pinenuts, walnuts, almonds (or combo)
3/4 cup packed fresh chopped parsley
3/4 cup fresh grated parmesan
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup melted butter (Betsy says to reduce this amount, put a little more cheese in instead)
salt to taste
Combine everything in a blender on low, then medium. Leave the cover off then get a ladder and lick the pesto off of your ceiling. (Sorry, that last part I just made up).
