Sunday evening greetings!  We’ve been busy with both houses.  Friday Richard worked at the old house and I worked at the new.  Yesterday we worked together at the old house and today together at the new.  We’re ready to be done with the old one.

I expect so.  Is it completely empty now?

We still need to hand carry some large framed items, but the rest that’s left is going to be hauled away.

I shall shortly be on my way to Cousin Dee Dee's and we'll be on our way to the restaurant.

Have a great time.

Hauled away but not to the new house :)

Then went to a fundraiser that featured four bands playing 60s favorites.

The place had great pork tamales, too. Perfect with an ice-cold can o’ beer.

Now I am home, watching Hearts of the West, which I haven’t seen in maybe 20 years.

Back from a lovelier than lovely birthday dinner at Genghis Cohen - cousins Dee Dee and Alan, and Cousin Mickey Rapkin and his hubby. So much food. I actually ate much less than usual and yet still feel like I'm ready to explode.

Orange chicken (extra crispy). I had two small helpings as there were five of us.

Someone ordered Schezuan shrimp - that was my least favorite of the evening and I only had two bites.

Peking duck. Not really my thing but Cousin Dee Dee made me a little sandwich on some kind of bao or bun - small - not really for me but I ate it.
