I forgot one on my list of great movies of the year: Turn Every Page. It was about editor Robert Gottlieb and writer Robert Caro. It warmed this editor’s heart.

Is it a coincidence that "editor" sort of rhymes with "predator"?

The Annabelle & Thatch book is on!

The only good thing I had lined up for the end of 2023 that never happened: the commercial release of the Moonshine & Mistletoe recording. I'm still rather pissed about this debacle since the producer of the recording took six years to finally set things in motion for a release and then bungled it.

Trust no one.

That's great news about A&T!!

(And sad about M&M.)

There’s a sequel to the novel, The Maid. It’s called The Mystery Guest, and Molly the Maid is back in action. It was fun.

Starting The Life of Emile Zola. It’s straight out of La Boheme.

This morning I saw one of my three doctors I see for anual visits.  I was pleased that I have not shrunk ;D

I didn't need any urgent tests for my family curse which is good since I need to wait until the insurance will cover them.

My blood pressure is low again, which could explain why I have been more tired than usual.

On the list of board games we had one called Masterpiece. You had to navigate the world of art dealership. In among the paintings was a forgery, which you didn’t want to get stuck with.

Yes! I mentioned that one but couldn’t recall the name!

DR JOHN G I was just going to remind DR RODZINSKI about the Masterpiece game.

It was fun!  And the paintings were lovely!

Yes it was fun to have the little paintings and there was some sort of plastic device, I forget what it did. But I liked to play with it.

This film of Zola is so cheesy. Not once is it mentioned that Dreyfus was Jewish. Antisemitism was the heart and soul of the case.

Can you get it from another library, or do you have another hold that's an even longer wait?
