The first time I saw The Wizard of Oz was in a movie theater, don't recall the date or which theater (maybe Bruce knows). The flying monkeys scared me which could be why I was never keen on monkeys

AHA!  I remember a television movie that scared me and scarred me for life.....and I was in my 20's.

Trilogy of Terror - three stories each starring Karen Black.  The last story called The Zumi Doll is the one that did it.  If you saw it, you know.

It's probably on YouTube.
