I have postponed my haircut until after the Christmas holiday......call me Cousin Itt......around the sides.

One of my favorite obscure mentions of Cousin Itt is in the Christmas-ish show ANNIE -

When you wake, ring for Drake
Drake will bring your tray.
When you're through, Mrs. Pugh
Comes to take Itt away!

Even with questionable lyric changes, I do get a good feeling from

Mitzi Gaynor's rendition of "We Need a Little Christmas"

I like the look on her face where Mitzi is singing "It hasn't snowed a single flurry" while looking at the snow falling all around her.

Fortunately, it's only for the season.  It would be annoying to have books turned around like that for a design concept all year round.

BK, have you seen the opera version of Marnie? If yes, your thoughts?

Here’s an uplifting-ish story I edited for our mag about how Edmund “Kris Kringle” Gwenn’s ashes were lost for decades and finally located and given a proper resting place.

That's a very sweet story. :)

His passion is actually Shakespeare.

I was fortunate to see him as Hamlet and as Macbeth in Los Angeles. He was fantastic.

I can easily imagine that he was fantastic.

I don't think I ever owned a holiday-themed LP. But on CD, of course A Broadway Christmas, perhaps the most imitated CD I've ever produced.

Q for BK, or anyone who’d care to answer. What are your favorite Christmas/holiday LPs?

My parents had this, and I just really liked it.  His version of "Sleigh Ride" is probably my favorite version of all. :)

Quite a few years ago, I found that it had been released on CD, so I got my own copy. ;D

This is the cover of the DVD that I have.  The Amazon listing says that it's Region 2, but there are other listing for Region 1 releases with different covers.

Just had to share. ;)
