I don't think I ever owned a holiday-themed LP. But on CD, of course A Broadway Christmas, perhaps the most imitated CD I've ever produced.

I listen to it year-round.

It's absolutely lovely.  Highly recommended!

Why is this controversial?

I find it joyous.

I really enjoyed this, too!  Why are some people SO upset with this?? :o

How many of us have participated in a production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL?

I have done one.....I played Scrooge.....it was most entertaining...to the cast at least.

I've never been involved in a production.  I've just seen many over the years.

Does the soundtrack from "Scrooge" count as a Christmas LP?

I have postponed my haircut until after the Christmas holiday......call me Cousin Itt......around the sides.

One of my favorite obscure mentions of Cousin Itt is in the Christmas-ish show ANNIE -

When you wake, ring for Drake
Drake will bring your tray.
When you're through, Mrs. Pugh
Comes to take Itt away!

:))

Thanks DR FREDDIE, DR JANE, and DR GEORGE.  It was a lot of fun and I would encourage any of the performers or musicians on HHW to participate in a production if a chance comes along.

How could I have forgotten A Broadway Christmas?  Although I guess I was just thinking of LP's.

Whatever it is that I have, it's all in my nose and throat now, which will hopefully be the end of it.

Fingers crossed this is the end of it.

Not on the site, but we do have them and I can email you the actual certificate. Just decide on the amount and then pay directly to PayPal or Venmo.

I am home. The Access-a-Ride trips were all successful but the traffic was ridiculous. It took AAR 75 minutes to get me from East 22nd Street to West 86th Streetbecause traffic on Eighth Avenue between 22nd Street and 59th Street was moving about one block per five minutes. It was hell.

Here’s an uplifting-ish story I edited for our mag about how Edmund “Kris Kringle” Gwenn’s ashes were lost for decades and finally located and given a proper resting place.

https://www.kates-boylston.com/american-cemetery-and-cremation/on-the-road-los-angeles-a-christmas-miracle/article_3c9bba70-990a-11ee-bd4f-5f04d88b43ee.html

I really enjoyed this story, Rodzinski.  Have shared it to my Facebook page (and hope it's all right that I did so).
