I am healing slowly. The surgeon said I could only eat "foods that can be squished by my fingers or cut with a plastic knife" for one week. And, I can only eat on one side of my mouth. But otherwise, feeling a lot better.

Back to The Lodger. Criterion has done an excellent job of cleaning up the movie. And the new score is lush.

That's great news!

Was kept waiting more than an hour to see the doctor.

Can you get stressed from waiting so long for the stress test?

It caused my blood pressure to go up to 118 over 62. That’s about 10 points higher than normal.

Those are still really good numbers, aren't they?

I bought a bunch of what I thought was watercress. It’s fenugreek.

Good news is that there was nothing to report from the stress test.

Excellent!

Wednesday evening greetings!  We decorated Christmas cookies this morning, then went to the old house to supervise the clearing of junk from the garage.  Richard swept the floor and I held the dustpan.  “Staging” was being done when we left, photos will be taken tomorrow, and we should have a listing Friday morning.

I am glad you are feeling better.  Are you having trouble finding foods to eat.  Does ice cream count as a food you can squish ;)

It's all in my nose now - no sore throat but almost no voice. I'm so tired of this crap. Cleaning lady is coming way too early and I don't fancy being out of the house for three damn hours. I tried to get her to push until Saturday but she won't. I'm thinking her days here are numbered. She's been doing this for over two decades now, but I'm having little patience at the moment. And if I'm not on the mend tomorrow, then I cancel the Do and if people can come on the first of January, we'll Do a little Do then. And the nose stuff could be more allergies from the damn rain and dog combo. Thank goodness the dog goes bye bye at eight.

Thank you, DR Jane!  Our realtor has set it up so I’ll get a text whenever there’s a showing.  I hope my phone blows up over the weekend.

It is better she not wait until Saturday.  You need the house cleaned and as much dog hair as possible vacuumed.
