I just had a bath following another violent bout of bad health. Thank God I'm doing laundry tomorrow. I suspect I will spend Christmas Eve mopping the bathroom.

Friday morning greetings!  We have just returned from watching Charlotte perform in her daycare Christmas program.  She was the best, of course.

Whatever food poisoning issue I have is, I'm afraid, the last straw. My stomach, like the last time this happened a couple of weeks ago, feels like constant cramping, like to idiots are in there pinching things. So, I was up a good deal of the night. Pepcid's not helping at all. I guess I needed one more thing to make this week a complete disaster. I may try for more sleep later.

I had baked catfish, grits, succotash and a baked sweet potato for lunch.

The owner of Third Generation asked me what I was doing on Christmas Day.  I have Christmas Eve plans, but none for the next day.  Therefore, I was invited to Christmas Dinner for friends of Third Generation. It is a private dinner for their constant patrons.  I am honored to be asked, and I may go. 

That sounds very nice! I hope you do go!

I’ve been listening to Thomas Ades’ Dante, a musical imagining of Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso. I liked a lot of Inferno and don’t like Purgatorio much at all. Hopefully Paradiso will be better.
