I peeled and sliced and cooked 3 lbs of mushrooms

Got all my Pyrex fancy white dishes together , cookies, assorted drinks , a small birthday cake and my 10lb bone in prime rib and packed everything in my car

Then I drove to moms it’s like 2 miles away) and unpacked it all

Then WFO was delivered by his aide, who went home to enjoy the holiday with her family

Then after getting everything cleaned up, the leftovers parceled up and divided, and repacked my car, I drove WFO home and got him settled for the night

It was a lovely service, youth bell choir did two hymns , one at the beginning and one at the end of the service.

The string choir did two hymns, also divided throughout the service.

We had the reading of the Nativity story in Bible verses, interspersed with congregational carols, accompanied by the organ and brass choir

I served as a communion assistant and we had a beautifully full church of all ages , which was wonderful

We had our traditional candlelight congregational sing song of silent night, then ended with Joy to the World.

On my way I home I need to pass by the Presbyterian church, where several of my friends attend.

People were just arriving for their service so I stopped in a greeted and hugged a bunch of people which raised my spirits even more

Tomorrow morning ( well I guess THIS morning) we shall have our annual zoom visit and watch each other opening presents
