Continuing with the Goodreads issues, I read about an author who was dropped by her publisher for getting angry at a reviewer for not giving her five stars.  Apparently the review of good but the author did not care for the four star rating.  IMHO four stars is an excellent rating.

I looked at reviews on the book and people have given who one star stating it is out of spite.  Other stated their review was honest and not related to the author's behavior.  Half of those were mediocre, other were decent or better.

I almost commented on the timing oo this gift   We also have the same problem.

I put the butter in the mixer, then let it run for a while. That softens it faster.

I find it needs to soften a bit before doing that.

I have also, initially, done a few seconds in the microwave.  You have to be very careful when doing that.
