I must seek out that Arena Happy End of which DR Elmore speaks.

It's on that Premiere Opera site I posted some time ago.

Why is it that as soon as your hands are in the litter box,  you're cleaning the toilet, or emptying the vacuum bag, your eyes start itching and you can do nothing - zip, nada, zilch - about it?

Kitty cleanup is finished. I will now lie down and not get up until I must feed the cats their dinner.

TOD:

I should be here later in the evening. Have a dance party to attend from 6 to 9 or so.

Had a bad night of sleep. I think I blame the decongestant.

Ron - That was an interesting observation about Hugh Grant's feelings about his dancing scene.

Or Wonka, for that matter?

There's been discussion on castrecl and elsewhere about the trailers for the new movie musicals seeming to be trying to hide that they are indeed musicals.

I agree with John G that Hugh’s best performance is in Paddington 2 as a comical villain.

I loved all the photos and illustrations yesterday.

I think my favorite was the line of animals pulling the lights off a tree and at the end of the line was a dachshund with the strand wire in his mouth.

I slept in a bit this morning.  Not too late.

I could have gotten up at 5:15, but after blowing my nose, my CPAP decided to ease my breathing and I slept another three hours.

Have watched a movie this morning:  "The Big Sleep" with Bogart and Bacall.  "The Adventures of Robin Hood" is airing right now on TCM.

It is very overcast here this morning.  Not a ray of sunshine to be seen anywhere.

I guess I'll have to settle for all the rays of sunshine found on these here pages.
