Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Good Morning.  It's a cloudy day here in the Bay Area.  No rain in the forecast until I think tomorrow, but it's really grey out.  Thanks for all who took a look at my school's Christmas Program.  I do a lot of things in order to be able to live in the Bay Area, but my work at school is my favorite and most fulfilling.

Going to hit the local record store to get some late Christmas gifts today and I'll pass by moms to say hi.  But that's it - what a life of leisure, for a few weeks anyway. :-)

LOL, I was wondering the same thing.

Bless her heart!   She has been so busy.

I had asked her a week or so back to say hello for me to William Orr.

I saw her comment addressed to me last night.  And her next comment had a reference to Mr. Orr, but I could not make a connection.

Now we know...there wasn't any.  Just mistaken identity!

I had asked vixmom the question.

I'm happy to have been mistaken for you, Ron! :)

I stopped watching Dark Shadows the tv show after a year or so.

Now I find that it is on FreeVee - and you can start anywhere you want to.

I am in the midst of the "Adam" storyline which I hadn't seen back in the day.  It is most entertaining.

And it's nice to see old friends up to new antics....well new to me.

Grayson Hall was good friends with my friend Leonora Hayes. I liked her very much. Here she is as the criminal Lady in Grey in the 1977 Broadway revival of Kurt Weill's Happy End.

Grayson Hall was wonderful on Dark Shadows. Was her character name Julia?

I think both Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile were better than the books
Kubrick’s The Shining
The TV version of It (the spider)
The original The Stand
Carrie
Creepshow
Cat’s Eye

OMG DR ELMORE thanks for sharing that picture.

Yes DR JOHN G - she is Dr. Julia Hoffman among other characters during the time travel episodes.

She was wonderful in Dark Shadows and one of the joys in re-watching it.

I like DR RON PULLIAM's list for the TOD.

My FAVORITES:

Carrie - original
The Shining

TV:

Salem's Lot - one of the best uses of the LONG form tv mini-series (along with Leon Uris's QB VII).

My go-to jernt for fried chicken was closed today and will remain closed until after the New Year.

Happily, "The Triangle", another local eatery opened today.  I stopped in a got my fried chicken there along with green beans and rice with tomatoes.

It was Good!!

When we pulled up to Costco the lot of rather full and I was concerned our experience would be the same as DR Jrand's at Walmart.  Then we found a side area where we have never parked again and there were plenty of spaces.  We shall have to remember this area.

It was somewhat crowded in the store but not bad.  Being early there weren't any lines to check-out, making it easy to cross through the open space to the pharmacy section.  Fortunately we don't use the pharmacy as that line was extra long.

When we left, we walked right up to a counter with only one person in front of us who was almost done.

Leaving the store we walked right up to the person who checks the receipts, once again no line.
