We watched the neighborhood fireworks at midnight from our front door

They are, of course, strictly illegal here but the skies looked like 4th of July at Disney

Then we went to bed and to sleep after a quick phone call from the Vixter

She sounded exhausted and was on the way to bed herself

 I am looking forward to holding my grandson in 2024 and praying he will be a happy and healthy child.

Wide awake and with a craving for hot cocoa

I hoped it would make me tired but I’m still feeling wakeful

Vixdad and I are meeting friends for brunch

We’ve all known each other for between 48 and 51 years .

We’re going to a lovely place where they have a large and delicious buffet

We went there last year and liked it very much , so I am very much looking forward to both the meal and the conversation
