DR Ginny, I hope you and Richard are feeling better today.

Well, we’re not worse, DR Jane.  We’re both up and about and keeping ourselves entertained.  I suspect it’ll be this way through the weekend, at least.

DR ChasSmith, thanks for checking in.  Glad to hear your first procedure went smoothly.  Good luck with your mismatched eyes over the next 2 weeks.  My biggest complaint was no depth perception.

If you have a tumbled stone source in the area - I would suggest purchasing an Apache Tear that is very helpful in stabilizing such life situations.

I am watching a 1967 film called The Liquidator which features Mr. Rod Taylor and Miss Jill St. John who looks beautiful and gives a credible performance.

The credit sequence at the beginner is most clever even if it is derivative with Miss Shirley Bassey singing the title tune with some execrable lyrics.

I did take a moment to go to the bank and to WalMart for some supplies that may be needed if the SN*W reports for the weekend prove to be true.

In any case temperatures hovering near the ZERO mark are predicted.

We were productive this morning and loaded up the car to take to Goodwill.  It was our first time there since moving here.  The drop off was easy.  Then we filled the gas tank and went to Fred Meyer to stock up before the winter storm arrives on Friday afternoon.

Mostly we purchased fruit and vegetables.

We moved people through the food pantry line quickly today. Finished before noon. Last week the work lasted until 1:30.

Came home and, believe it or not, took a nap.

Made a cherry almond tart for a birthday present. Did dishes.

Now I am sitting here like so much fish.

I hope so and thank you.  We often went to the Goodwill store in Ashland as it was conveniently located.  There was also a Hospice store that we donated to.
