Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a nut for tuna, and now it is time for you to post until the nutty cows come home.

Rodzinski, I posted right when the day changed.

Sending good weather vibes and hope that your power stays on.

We’re getting snow again tonight. It is currently 11 degrees, very cold for Maryland.

BK, totally agree with your assessment of Maestro. I wanted to like it more than I did, but there are certainly some worthy things in it. I understand that it is not a comprehensive biopic. But it would have been nice if it demonstrated more his raw talent as a musician and a teacher.

I love almost all of his compositions, but I keep coming back especially to his Symphony 2 ("The Age of Anxiety") and the Mass ("Thank You" and "Hurry").

As DR Ron Pulliam pointed out on FB, Peter Schickele (PDQ Bach) has died at 88.

I hadn’t read any rave reviews of Maestro. A few had been positive. Most were negative, many for the reasons BK mentioned. All loved Carey Mulligan.

I like most of what people have listed so far. Favorite song may be Some Other Time from On the Town.

Yesterday I mentioned it was 42. That’s how bouncy our weather has been. That was a high after lows around 17. Today it’s supposed to get up to 70.
